The Story
Out of work and getting desperate, fast-talking thief Lou Bloom (Jake Gyllenhaal) learns there's money to be made as a freelance videographer, shooting horrific, gruesome footage and selling it to a local L.A. TV news station. As Bloom immerses himself in a seedy world where violence and tragedy lead to big ratings, he begins manipulating crime scenes-and crimes-in order to maximize the carnage.
